Recent advances in robotic manipulation have enabled increasingly tight integration between perception, planning, learning, and control. Despite this progress, the role of geometric information — such as representations, structures, metrics, priors, and constraints — remains fragmented across these subareas. While geometry is fundamental to reasoning about objects, modelling contacts, and physical interactions, it is often treated as an implementation detail rather than as a unifying framework for manipulation.
This workshop is the second edition of our series on geometric-aware representations (the first was held at ICRA 2023, attracting 120+ participants). It shifts the focus toward the role of geometric structure across the full manipulation stack: sensing and state estimation, learning and latent representations, planning and optimization, and control under contact and geometric constraints.
